Our Equipment
The On Site Studio
This is a Vauxhaul High Top Movano van chosen because of its full height sliding side door and full height rear doors. On the exterior there is an awning which can be fitted with side panels providing shelter from the wind and rain. Within the Studio is a network of six computers and printers allowing customers to browse the fotos whilst we are printing. These have recently been upgraded to provide for faster browsing and printing. At larger events we add computers outside the van to allow more customers to browse.
Cameras
We use the very best Digital Single Lens Reflex camera and lenses available. This includes an EOS 1ds mark 2 - a 16mega pixel full frame sensor camera and Canon Professional "L" series lenses. This combination cost around £6000 for one lens and one camera! We have multiple lenses each costing £1000 plus. Our images are always recorded at maximum resolution which means the natural size of the photo if printed full size would be 69 inches by 46 inches. This means we can crop severly (digitally zoom) and not lose quality when printing A3 or A4.
Printers.
We use the Epson R2400 which gives Roll feed and cut sheet and has won numerous awards for its quality. This is an upgrade from the Canon I9950 and HP9180 we used in 2006. The Epson uses pigmented inks which are longer lasting and water resistant.
